Should I still wait for Galaxy Z Fold 8 accessories?
Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. You no longer need to wait for the device names or core dimensions.
You should still buy cases, screen protectors and lens protection by exact model. Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra have different bodies, screens and camera layouts, so their accessories are not interchangeable by default.
Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra are different devices
Galaxy Z Fold8 has a 7.6-inch main screen, a 5.5-inch cover screen and a 201 g body. Folded, Samsung lists it at 81.9 x 123.9 x 9.7 mm.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra has an 8.0-inch main screen, a 6.5-inch cover screen and a 215 g body. Folded, Samsung lists it at 72.8 x 158.4 x 8.9 mm.
The camera layouts also differ. Fold8 uses dual 50 MP rear cameras, while Fold8 Ultra uses a 200 MP main camera, 50 MP ultra-wide camera and 10 MP telephoto camera.
Those differences affect case shells, hinge clearance, outer-screen glass and camera cutouts. A shared accessory is safe only when its product page explicitly names both supported models.

Who can choose accessories now?
