Spigen Pixel 10a Screen Protector GLAS.tR EZ Fit Pro 2-Pack

I just installed this on my Pixel 10 Pro XL. Having the frame really helps with getting the alignment perfect. After removing the frame, I had some larger bubbles that I was able to squeegee out with the included tool. However, there were 2 smaller bubbles that wouldn't budge. I was afraid that there was dust stuck underneath, but I couldn't see any. I then stopped using the tool and tried with my fingernail on one of the bubbles. The bubble didn't move, but using my fingernail and pushing down slightly made the adhesive stick to the phone and the bubble disappeared. I tried the same thing with the other bubble and it disappeared also! Maybe those were high spots in the screen protector and/or adhesive and just needed to be pushed down? Regardless, I got the protector to stick to my phone w/ no bubbles.

I had absolutely NO problem installing these Spigen GLAStR EZ FIT Alumina Core Glass screen protectors on two brand new Google Pixel 10 phones. The instructions seemed pretty clear to me on the little card that came in the box. The protectors adhered directly to the screen in perfect alignment. I was concerned reading a lot of 1 and 2 star reviews that shouted warnings about getting dust and small pieces of grit or dirt under the protector being possibly caused by the applicator device having debris dropping down to the screen when the applicator device was initially put onto the clean screen. I used a battery powered air blower to blow everything on the granite kitchen countertop area, where I applied the protectors, before I started opening any of the wipes package. I even blew all surfaces of the applicator device but saw no evidence whatsoever of any contaminants on them. I washed my hands very well with lots of bubbling liquid soap before I started. I was very careful in cleaning the bare screen with the wipes, microfiber cloth and dust stickers. The squeegee worked perfectly to move a few bubbles to the edge of the screen and seal down all the edges so there wasn't a hint of air gap on any edges. All in all, I couldn't have been more pleased with the installation. Initially, I had no problems deleting the already registered fingerprints and re-registering them. All four of my registered fingerprints seem to work fine while I was registering and testing them for a few minutes. Time will tell if any recognition problems crop up. Normally I wouldn't spend this much on a glass screen protector. However, this is worth it. The design works so well. This product was really easy to install. The what wipes that came with it worked really well on greasy fingerprints. The microfiber cloth was really good too. And the sticky dust removers had good adhesive. I find that the screen protector does not dull reactivity. Only time will tell how durable it is. I really enjoyed how easy the application was. It came out flawless with virtually no air bubbles except for the corners which were really easy to smooth out. The fit was perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised with the screen protectors. There were 2 included. Both have their own little holder that fits over the phone to perfectly align the screen protector without worries. Only had to smooth out a few bubbles and perfection! But it does end there. I have noticed that this screen protector doesn't show fingerprints easily. I've hardly had to clean the screen at all since applying. I always loved the previous screen protector brand that I used, but this one has quickly become my favorite! I highly recommend this particular screen protector. Easy application. Great screen coverage.

recently purchased this screen protector for my new Pixel 10 Pro, and overall, I have mixed feelings, resulting in a 4-star rating. The Pros: Installation: It was incredibly easy to install. It came with an alignment tray that made it impossible to mess up, leading to a perfectly aligned, bubble-free application on the first try. Touch Sensor Compatibility: I had absolutely no problems with the touch sensor. The screen responsiveness is perfect, and I didn't even need to turn on the high-sensitivity mode for fingerprint detection. The Cons: Durability Issues: Unfortunately, I had to order another set. One of the screens cracked on its own without any drop, hit, or trauma to the phone. It seems the tempered glass is a bit brittle or perhaps stressed during installation. Conclusion: If you prioritize an easy, foolproof installation and perfect touch sensitivity, this is a great choice. However, be aware that you might need to use the warranty or second screen in the pack sooner than expected, as the durability of the glass itself seems inconsistent. Read more

Easy installation with guide, finger print and touch sensitivity doesn't seem to be impacted by this screen protector. On the expensive side for a glass protector, about double the cost of other brands. I also order a Spigen case and this works great with the case, no issues with fitment. Screen coverage is good and alignment with the guide is perfect. No bubbles during install, it really comes down to cleaning the screen before installation and make sure you don't have dust on the screen before the final step when installing the glass. Overall great glass screen protector.

I’ve been using this screen protector for about seven months now, and honestly, I forget it’s even there most of the time. It feels just like the original screen, and it doesn’t interfere with everyday use in the slightest. One thing that’s really impressed me is how well the fingerprint sensor works with it on. Usually, I find that screen protectors can make the sensor pretty much useless, but with this one, it still works reasonably well. It’s not exactly the same as without a protector, but for me, it’s good enough that I don’t even think about it anymore. When I installed it, I did everything according to the instructions—cleaned the screen thoroughly, lined it up carefully, and pressed it down. I put the second one in the 2 pack on my wife's phone, and hers looks perfect, no bubbles at all. I do have a few persistent small pinpoint bubbles on mine because I had to lift a corner to remove a speck of dust. I’m guessing the dust was stuck to the protector itself from the factory, because I had cleaned the phone thoroughly beforehand. The bubbles are tiny and not too noticeable, so I’m not overly bothered, but it’s the only thing I can criticize. If I could, I’d probably give it 4.5 stars because of those little bubbles, but honestly, that’s such a minor complaint that I don’t think it’s fair to dock a full star for it. Everything else about this protector—clarity, touch sensitivity, durability—has been great. Overall, it’s done exactly what I hoped: protect the screen without being annoying. It’s still crystal clear, it doesn’t get in the way, and it’s held up well to daily use. If you’re looking for a reliable screen protector, this one has definitely worked well for me. I think the last time I got tempered glass screen protectors was about 5 years/ 4 phones ago. I'm not prone to dropping phones, and the times I have dropped them, there were never any screen breakages. Plus, they were always a huge production to apply. I got these protectors because it looks like the installation technology has advanced - a LOT - since then. There's a hard plastic frame holding the glass that fits right over the phone. There is some adhesive stuff to remove (first on the part that goes onto the phone, then the part you rub for the backing). There are all kinds of extra accessories: Wet screen wipes, adhesive dust removal stickers, a foam squeegee (my past experience had next to useless hard plastic squegees). I supplied my own latex food handling gloves, just to make the whole experience feel almost surgical in nature (Nurse, sponge) and to keep my fingerprints off of anything (for aesthetics, there were no crimes being committed). I read the instructions for the novelty of it, but the whole system is so intuitive that you really shouldn't need to read them. Everything was completely in line with my expectations of what would need to be done. I'm not sure how (and this has to be completely on me), but despite my careful gloving, wipedown, application, rubbing the back and peeling, and lifting the frame, the first protector had bubbles with minute spots in the middle that the squeegee couldn't get rid of. The second one, I made sure I did the whole thing with a fan blowing gently over the work area. That one installed with no issue. Overall, installation was way, way easier than what I was used to. The main reason I recommend this to any Pixel 9 Pro XL user, whether prone to dropping screens or not, is the oleophobic quality. I've managed to get fingerprints on the glass. But a quick wipe on my sleeve, or my hip, and it's like I've never touched the screen. Prior phones (a couple of them Pixels), it was basically a chore clearing off fingerprints/ finger marks. That alone makes this worth it. I am not willing to drop my phone face down from any height to test its protection. However, for the sake of all of you, I used a sharp edge of a key along the very bottom and very top edges, pressing hard, to see if I could scratch the glass (I won't risk cracking the phone screen, but I'm fully willing to buy another set of screen protectors). The sharp key point skated around with no scratch-making sound. The glass had no scratches. So then, I used a box cutter. I dug the point in, hard, and went from side to side (as though I was opening a package), and a bit up and down (basically moving the point 'sideways' in relation). This time, I heard and felt vibration, as though scratches were being made. Nothing. Nothing to a finger rubbed over the area, nothing when I held the phone up to the light at an angle that would show scratches. As for touch sensitivity, I have never had a problem with it recognizing my thumbprint. Perhaps it's because I followed the often-repeated advice throughout the packaging, and took multiple thumbprints of the same angle (which I always have done anyway). But I added some index finger presses, like 2, and it reads my index finger just fine as well. I honestly don't see any downside to getting this kit. Easy to install. Provides supporting tray that customized for Pixel 9 series with the shape of camera bump at the back. The tray is made of dense form which provides good support and helps keep camera at even level with the screen protector installation frame provided. The included squeegee is a good quality one. It has soft tip than just one plastic piece. Nice. The included instruction is clear. It is not too small print and it is step by step illustrations. Putting the frame on phone is also easy. The alignment is good. The instruction indicates to press on to the slot in the middle back and forth. I also applied pressure evenly across the frame as well. You can see how the protector adheres to the screen to most parts (of course some ares of the screen are covered by stickers etc.). I think that helps eliminate bubbles afterward well. In my case, the first application came out 100% bubble free right away. I'll come to the reason for the second application in my case a little later. Peeling the back to sicker off the frame is also easy but I will be careful to pull it slowly and keep firm holding to the frame to the phone while pulling to prevent tearing off the pulling-sticker. Pulling the top clear sheet is the next step after the frame is lifted. This step is the. most easy part. No issue there, just pull the tabs off. Again, I would do it gently as to prevent pulling off the screen protector itself which is stilly newly applied. Just a precaution. I did not have any issue with both applications during this step. T The last step is to look for bubbles and squeeze out ones if there are any. The second application had a small one near the middle. It was very easy to eliminate. I used the squeegee to squeeze it out. Only few swipes down without having to chase it out to the edge at all. It was probably because I did not consistently apply pressure around the frame as the first time. Fingerprint sensing is good. There is no need or perceived performance degradation at all. Unlock is as fast as without the protector. This is another point of concern for this generation of Pixel as it moved to use ultrasound sensing which can be impeded by solid material (a nature of sound wave). This flies so well. The screen protector has a light gap around the edge so it fits my case perfectly. The star is taken off is probably may not be the product issue and perhaps mine. However, I have reviewed few online reviews of this model and they have more or less ran into the issue of dust remained after applied this screen protector. I thought I have a way to prevent that from happening. I keep the frame down while peeling the backing sheet from underneath to prevent dust from falling on to the sticky side of the screen protector. I triply wiped the screen and inspected. The first application had what it looked like a fine long thread of fiber on it. It was so obvious and I couldn't stand seeing it. The protector is easy to remove by the way at this stage and that is a good thing. I attempted the second application and did more checks etc. This time was much better than the first time but still one spot on the screen that caught a spec. of dust. This one is a "spot" kind of dust and it is very small and is not like to catch eyes. That is much better. I think the product is good. You need to find a good clean room perhaps to get complete dust free installation. I just wish Spigen with installation apparatus that give dust free installation like some other brands for Pixel 9 pro. recently. Read more
