This protector adds a replaceable glass layer over that external screen while leaving the hinge and folding inner display untouched. It is case friendly, but case fit should be checked after installation because accessories that overlap the cover screen can lift the glass. The protector cannot prevent every crack or impact, so a compatible case remains important for frame and hinge protection.
