So far has been working perfectly for me. Was worried cause many cases had bad reviews for how good they would actually interface with the Magic Keyboard but I’ve had zero problems with this one. Looks good and keeps it light when not attached to keyboard.

Well, it’s a Spigen so high quality is a given! It is thin, it fits perfectly and it’s pretty lightweight. This will provide just the right amount of protection and covers all of the exposed edges, the bottom has the knockout for for the hinge so the Magic Keyboard closes nicely. The Carbon Fiber looks and feels high quality… very nice case.

This is exactly what I wanted to go with my Magic Keyboard (MKB) for my iPad Pro 2025 M5. It fits, protects, and works without any problems. It adds weight to the MKB but it doesn’t wobble and it doesn’t make it difficult to use on my lap. Highly recommend.

I bought this Magic Keyboard compatible case because it had the best reviews compared with the Pitaka, Coverbuddy, Moft and other brands. It felt very premium and gave the iPad Pro M4 11 inch a very premium and nice look and feel, while giving the extra protection I was looking for. It also closed perfectly when magnetized to the MGK, even with an ESR Armorite screen protector on (0.33 mm of thickness). The problem is that in my case the MGK didn’t work at all. I don’t know if it was the pin connectors or what, but with the case off the MGK work perfectly and with the case on it just didn’t work. I really wished it had worked, because I really loved the look and feel. Sadly I had to send it back…

I bought this case because I really like Apple’s magic keyboard, but I don’t like that the ipad is completely unprotected when not attached to the keyboard. Additionally the camera bump on the ipad makes it rock back and forth if you put it on a flat surface. Seeing as I use my ipad with the magic pencil for sketching, I had to get something to fix that. I tried a bunch of different cases before I landed on this one. The cases fell into 3 camps: * Folio cases - Instead of just having one case, I thought I could have the magic keyboard, and then a separate folio case when I wanted to draw on my ipad. These were usually the cheapest option, and provided protection for the screen when out of the magic keyboard case. After trying this for a while, it ended up being too much of a hassle to have to juggle two cases though, so I passed on all of these. Shout out to the Pitaka oragami case for being the nicest one I tried though, I would reccommend that one if you’re okay with two cases. * Keyboard Cases - Cases which would be complete replacements for the magic keyboard. The benefit to these cases is that you don’t have to juggle multiple cases. You don’t have to worry about any alignment/compatibility issues like with the Magic Keyboard compatible cases. The downside is that none of these have a keyboard as nice to use as the Magic Keyboard and you end up losing out on the extra charging port the Magic Keyboard gives you. Also in my case, I already had the magic keyboard which made these cases a harder sell. The logitech combo touch is a very good option if you’re in the market for this style case. A little less convenient to use on your lap that the magic keyboard case, but the keyboard is great, and the case quality is superb * Magic keyboard compatible cases - Cases that work with the magic keyboard but don’t provide a ton of protection on their own because they have to be thin by design to work the the magic keyboard. All of these I tried, except for the spigen case, were way too flimsy/cheap for my needs. They all came in around the $60 mark and had cheap feeling plastic on the back which had no structure/stability. This Spigen case is made out of a harder/rubber soft touch material and it’s great. The magnets are strong, I put my ipad up on the fridge all the time now when I’m reading recipes, or cooking and facetiming someone. The only real downside to this case is that I’m not a big fan of the pencil holder. It makes you put the pencil in point up, which is kind of annoying when other cases allow you to put it in any orientation you want. Honestly I’d like to see a version of this case without the pencil holder, I’ve never had a problem with losing my apple pencil. That likely won’t happen though as the pencil holder also raises the side of the ipad up just enough to prevent the camera from touching the surface the ipad is resting on. As a final note, I saw some reviews mention that they had some issues closing the magic keyboard with this case on. I can’t say that I’ve had the same problem, but that might just be down to my usage. I can see if this was in a loose bag or something how the case might prevent the magnet from latching as securely. I just have mine in a backpack that has a tablet sleeve and seems to compress it enough that it hasn’t been an issue for me. Overall, this case has everything I was looking for in an ipad case, with very few downsides, so it gets a 5/5 from me. Read more
