Seal and Inspect Before Outdoor Use
Choose Tough Armor IP when the pet is active around rain, trails or water and the collar matches the stated range. Place the AirTag correctly, inspect the silicone seal, tighten the screw closure according to the product guidance and attach the mount securely. Recheck the seal and fasteners after impacts or repeated use.
IP68 performance depends on correct assembly, an undamaged seal and the specified test conditions; it does not guarantee protection in every water, pressure or chemical environment. An AirTag is not real-time GPS safety equipment and cannot guarantee pet recovery. Stop use if the case, screw or seal is damaged. AirTag and collar are not included.
Tough Armor IP or ComforTag?
Choose Tough Armor IP for sealed IP68 protection, screw locking and 0.3 to 1.5-inch collar support. Choose ComforTag for a slimmer low-profile mount on 1 to 1.5-inch straps. The two products have different water and fit specifications.
