Rugged Armor adds a flexible buffer around the case without covering the controls that make the Ultra useful. The raised TPU perimeter also creates separation between the screen edge and a flat surface.

The tempered glass protector handles the front separately. Its 9H hardness is intended to resist common surface scratches while keeping the display clear and responsive. Install the glass on a clean, dry screen before fitting the bumper, using the supplied alignment aid to centre it. As with any protector, dust or poor alignment can create bubbles, and a severe impact can still damage the watch.

It also differs from a slim cosmetic cover by adding more pronounced corner and edge cushioning.

For outdoor use, gym sessions and daily carry, the combination balances access, grip and front protection. If you frequently remove the case, flexible TPU is convenient. If your priority is a sealed one-piece front, compare an enclosed 360-style case instead. If minimum bulk matters more than edge cushioning, a Thin Fit model may be the better choice.
