Pre-Order and Backorder Shipping Times

Pre-Orders & Backorders

When will my pre-order ship?

Most pre-order and backorder products are expected to become ready for dispatch in about 2–4 weeks. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date, and the wait may be longer during major device-launch seasons or when supply is especially limited.

What the 2–4 Week Estimate Means

The 2–4 week period is normally the estimated time required for new stock to arrive and for your order to become ready for dispatch. It does not usually include the transportation time after the parcel has been shipped.

Please note: An estimated restock or dispatch window can change. If a product page gives a more specific estimate, use the information shown on that product page as the latest guidance for that item.

Which Products Are Offered for Pre-Order?

Erawish opens pre-orders or backorders selectively. We usually reserve them for:

  • New releases that are expected to arrive after a device launch.
  • Popular Spigen products that sell out quickly but are expected to be replenished.
  • High-demand versions or colors for which incoming stock has not yet reached our fulfilment location.

Not every out-of-stock item is available for pre-order. If we do not have a reasonable basis for expecting additional stock, we may leave the item unavailable instead of accepting an order with an uncertain wait.

Why July to September Is Often Especially Busy

In recent years, several major mobile-device launches have tended to arrive close together in the second half of the year. The exact dates can change, but the usual sequence creates a concentrated wave of demand for cases, screen protectors and camera lens protectors.

July

Samsung Galaxy Foldables

New Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip generations can trigger strong early demand for model-specific protection.

August

Google Pixel Flagships

The annual Pixel launch adds another range of new cases and protectors to the same production and supply window.

September

Apple iPhone Launches

Demand for iPhone accessories rises sharply as customers choose protection for newly released models.

Because Spigen must support many new models, product types, colors and regional markets at nearly the same time, some items can sell out soon after release. Restocks may arrive in several batches rather than one complete shipment.

Why the Wait Can Extend Beyond 4 Weeks

A longer wait does not necessarily mean that an order has been forgotten. Availability can be affected by production schedules, allocation between markets, staggered restocks, international inbound transportation, customs processing and demand that is higher than expected.

During a particularly busy launch cycle, shortages can continue for several months and carry into the Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas shopping period. This is why a 2–4 week estimate may occasionally need to be revised.

Payment Recommendation for Pre-Orders

If you are not certain that you can wait for the item, we recommend choosing a payment method other than PayPal for a pre-order or backorder.

PayPal states that when a merchant refunds a commercial payment, it does not return the fees charged to the merchant when the payment was received. This processing cost is retained by PayPal.

If you later cancel because you changed your mind, the original PayPal transaction fee may be deducted from your refund under our current Refund Policy.

This is not an additional Erawish cancellation penalty. It reflects a processing fee that PayPal does not return to us.

PayPal terms can change and may vary by market. You can review the PayPal Hong Kong User Agreement for the current official wording.

Before You Place a Time-Sensitive Order

  • Do not rely on a pre-order estimate if you need the item for a fixed travel date, birthday, device launch day or other deadline.
  • Check that the product is for the exact device generation, size and model you own.
  • If your basket contains both available and pre-order items, contact us before ordering if you need a particular item shipped urgently; arrangements can depend on the order and fulfilment location.
  • Review the latest product-page message and your order communications, as they may contain information specific to your item.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a pre-order or backorder usually take?

Most are expected to become ready for dispatch in about 2–4 weeks, but this is an estimate and some items take longer.

Does the 2–4 week estimate include delivery?

Normally, no. It refers to the estimated wait before the item is ready to dispatch. Shipping transit time begins after dispatch and varies by destination and fulfilment location.

Can the estimated date change?

Yes. A supplier restock, inbound shipment or allocation can be delayed or divided into smaller batches. We therefore cannot guarantee an exact dispatch or delivery date for a pre-order item.

Why do you recommend avoiding PayPal for an uncertain pre-order?

PayPal retains the original merchant processing fee when a payment is refunded. If you cancel because you changed your mind, that non-refundable PayPal fee may be deducted under our current Refund Policy.

Why accept pre-orders if stock is not immediately available?

For selected new or high-demand products, a pre-order lets customers reserve an item while we wait for incoming stock. We only offer this option selectively rather than enabling it for every unavailable product.

What should I do if I need the product by a specific date?

Please contact us before ordering. We can help you check the latest known status or consider an available alternative, but we cannot guarantee a deadline for an item that has not yet arrived.

Need the Latest Status?

Contact Erawish with the product name, device model and your order number if you have already placed an order. We will check the latest available information for that specific item.
